Bobcat tracks on a log From 2-13

In our backyard/woods we have found lots of evidence of different animals, tracks of fox, coyote (we hear them at night), Bobcat, and recently what we think might be the territorial markings of a black bear. I have tried to get good pictures of the tracks, but usually they are in fresh powder and they don’t show up so well on camera.

at about 5-6 foot high on a tree From 2-13

Please let me know if I am wrong on the markings.

A bear sighting would be cool. I heard they could damage your bird feeders, watch out!

Neat sighting Dan, wish I could help with whether this is from a bear or not.

Wow, a bear would be quite a find! The damage on that tree bark certainly looks like it was made by a very large animal. Cool!
